Laminate veneerler dişin ön yüzeyini restore etmek amacıyla hazırlanan porselen yapraklardır. Dişten uzaklaştırılan madde miktarı çok azdır. Bu nedenle kullanılabilecek en konservatif tedavilerden biridir. Tedavinin hazırlık aşamasında çoğunlukla 0.5 mm diş dokusu uzaklaştırılır.Bu sayede dişin ön yüzeyinde oluşacak minimum madde kaybıyla hem üstün bir estetik sağlanmakta hem de dişin diğer yüzeylerinin doğal yapısı ve diş-dişeti ilişkisi korunmaktadır.

Neden Porselen Veneer?
Amongst all crown covering methods, porcelain veneer is the most conservative method for tooth tissue. It provides the best conservative and esthetic solution for your front teeth. Porcelain veneers can disguise unwanted defects,unpleasant colorings which can caused by some antibiotics like tetracycline and frontal teeth feelings which does not have color match with adjacent teeth. Advantages
Since light can pass through full ceramic porcelains they are more natural and esthetic than metal ceramic porcelains. Even the best built metal-ceramic porcelain seem to be unnatural and synthetic. For this reason, full ceramic porcelains are more preferable than metal-ceramic porcelains for front teeth.Metal ceramic porcelains are sticked to teeth mechanically. Full ceramic porcelains are sticked to teeth both mechanically and chemically(adhesive cementation). Because of that full ceramic porcelains have higher holding capacity than metal ceramic porcelains. Thus,full ceramic porcelains are very solid, they fall difficultly. Metal ceramic porcelain might cause allergic reaction in some people due to some metals that used in substructure (nickel,etc...). However full ceramic porcelains have no allergy risk.
